Choose the right GB10 system

DGX Spark, ASUS Ascent GX10 and MSI EdgeXpert use NVIDIA's GB10 platform. Compare SSD capacity, warranty and delivery as well as price: a 2TB model is not a like-for-like substitute for a 4TB one.

GB10 combines an Arm CPU and NVIDIA graphics. Your software and containers need to support Linux on Arm; CUDA support alone is not enough. NVIDIA specifies 128GB unified memory and 273GB/s memory bandwidth for DGX Spark. That capacity can help with larger models, but does not guarantee fast responses or full-model training.

When a GB10 desktop makes sense

Consider one for a desk-based NVIDIA development environment and models that benefit from a large unified-memory pool. Budget for a monitor and peripherals if you need them. For interactive coding or chat, look for measurements using your model, quantisation and context length before replacing an existing workstation.

For smaller models, a compatible computer you already own may be better value. If you also need portability, compare a high-memory laptop rather than treating a desktop as a direct replacement.
