Using the site

You can read the site without creating an account or providing contact details. Our hosting and security services process technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages and protect the service. Our purpose is the legitimate interest of operating a reliable, secure website.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics is off unless you choose “Allow analytics” in the footer. If you allow it, we collect information about visits, pages, device/browser categories and retailer-link clicks to understand which content is useful. Deal-click events include the retailer, deal identifier, location of the link and listed price. We do not send your contact emails to analytics.

Consent is the basis for this optional analytics. You can withdraw it at any time using “Turn analytics off” in the footer, without affecting your use of the site or the lawfulness of earlier processing. This stops our analytics activity, removes the site's Google Analytics cookies and remembers your choice.

Our site tag disables advertising personalisation and Google Signals. We do not use the tag for advertising audiences. Google processes analytics information under its service terms; see Google’s privacy policy and analytics data-processing terms. Providers may process data outside the UK; their terms explain the applicable transfer arrangements.

Emails you send us

When you email us, we receive the message and sender details you provide. We use them to respond and handle corrections or follow-up, based on our legitimate interest in managing enquiries. Providing this information is optional. Avoid including payment details or other information we do not need.

Storage and retention

Your analytics choice is stored in your browser until you change it or clear local site data. If allowed, our analytics tag sets cookies with an expiry of 180 days, which can be renewed during use. Cookie expiry is separate from how long Google retains analytics reports.

Retailers and affiliate networks have their own privacy and cookie policies, which apply when you follow their links. We do not process your purchase or payment. Hosting, security, email and analytics providers may process information needed for their services. We do not sell personal information.

Depending on the processing, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw analytics consent using the footer control. Email us to exercise a right; we may need enough information to confirm your identity and locate the relevant records.
